Rooms were very unusual and it was about 8 mles out in the olive gardens so you need a car.Very good breakfast included ; dinner available was also good You need to be open minded it's a little on the downhill slide.

Hacienda La Laguna is located in the middle of an olive grove nearly a mile from the nearest main highway and just a few minutes from Baeza and Ubeda. Tranquilo! The dining room is superior with gourmet meals at a fraction of the cost of similar at a Parador or 4/5 fork restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent, more than met our expectations. We will definitely stay here again.

Very calm location, between olive tree fields, extremely interesting olive oil museum and good restaurant.

I liked everything but I have a few remarks: First: the soap and champoo of the hotel, in an olive oil place, should also be made with olive oil (la Chinata has good ones) instead of from some french company. Second: Difficult to find location unless you have GPS! Maybe a good idea to mention, on the site of the hotel, the coordinates: N 37.9467/ W 3.5699

The room was excellent especially the bathroom - it was immense! The location was superb, so quiet and peaceful.

The lack of a bar inside the hotel building. The only one was near the swimming pool and somewhat remote.

Smart, modern, clean rooms. Resturant was excellent and highly recommended. The adjacent Olive museum was fascinating and well worth a visit.

No bar in the hotel - only by the pool area. Pool was open to all visitors (not just hotel guests) and was very crowded as a result - but everyone very friendly

The main female receptionist was incredibly obliging and always had a ready smile. The room was lovely- had everything needed including a minibar which offered free soft drinks. We had exclusive use of the pool in the morning but it was open to non-residents and did get busy on the weekend. Close to a bird reserve and has very interesting olive oil museum on site with very well priced souvenirs.

The pool was very busy on the Sunday which we had not expected but they were all family groups and it was a pleasure to see so many people from different age groups enjoying themselves.

This beautiful hotel is part of a hotel and cooking school. The wonderful restaurant is staffed by students under the guidance of their instructors. This makes it a fun dining experience and food is unusual and gourmet. Th 30€ menu was exquisite, and hotel guests get 10% off the price. We purchased the spa package and had an amazing massage as well. The hotel is located out in the midst of huge olive groves, close to Baeza and Ubeda.

Noisy, food both expensive and not good. Breakfast awful.Bar like a transport cafe.

This is a rustic hotel but its facilities are good in that class. The atmosphere is informal and the dinner/wine from the cooking school is unusually good in this class.

The thin walls of the rooms - I was almost part of the bedtime conversation of the couple next door.

The room was big and comfortable. The bathroom, larger than the average hotel room in Amsterdam. There is a beautiful courtyard. Breakfast was good. Our children enjoyed the large swimming pool and the gardens. The hotel is a bit hard to find (it's not in the town of Baeza, but in the nearby Puente del Obispo), but it's worth the visit, it sits in a valley with more olive trees than can be imagined. Also, the adjacent museum of olive culture is worth a visit. The restaurant by the pool is convenient, and the main restaurant is great for dinner.

Very friendly welcoming hospitable staff ( who do remember you and your last visit). Good clean quiet spacious rooms, comfortable beds bathrooms, a/c - room chilled in readiness, and a fridge of cold soft drinks a nice touch - plenty of safe parking, and idyllic setting, and pool. Superb ´gourmet-style´food, and all staff eager to please and learn, and professional a delight to stay in, and return to, such a n atmosphere and comfortable well-run establishment

Highly recommended category! :) Clean, well furnished & comfortable rooms. The nice indoor garden is ideal for an evening wining. The restaurant is also perfect. Hacienda is sorrounded with a huge olive plantation (+ a small lake for a 15 minutes walk).

Location in the middle of olivetree fields, wonderfully peacefull. Bathrooms with bath and shower, very luxureous. The breakfast was the best we had in Andalusia, complete with yoghurt, fresh fruit, bread in several forms and bacon with eggs. Simply super! Very relaxed place to be.

The water did not work the next morning but was quickly repaired.
